We already use Tally and Excel. Why another tool?
Keep Tally for your books. AutoExportOS is for the export desk: shipment references, document status and invoice follow-ups that your team needs to review together. Start with one workflow and check whether it reduces repeated work. There is no automatic Tally, Excel or bank sync; records must be maintained by your team.
Will it pull updates from our CHA or shipping line?
No. Your team enters updates received from the CHA, freight forwarder or shipping line. The workspace keeps the recorded status, route and expected arrival date together. It does not read your WhatsApp chats, track vessels live or book containers.
Can it file shipping bills or issue a certificate of origin?
No. Maintain a document register and download draft commercial-invoice and packing-list templates. Complete and review the trade details before use. Customs filings, certificates of origin and carrier-issued documents still need the appropriate external process; a downloaded template is not an official filing or certificate.
Are the shipment examples and numbers real?
The ports and commodity names are real. The buyers, quantities, invoice amounts, dates and statuses are fictional examples, frozen at 14 September 2026—not customer data, price quotes or live shipments. The separate basmati-export statistic is India's published FY2025–26 trade value from APEDA, not business processed by AutoExportOS.
Can we start with one shipment, not a full ERP rollout?
Yes. Discuss one recent export: the order details, invoice, packing list, shipment updates and payment follow-up. Agree on the records, people and working features needed for a small pilot. Keep your existing source of truth until the workflow has been checked. Scope, pricing and onboarding support are agreed before you begin.
Can we take our data with us?
Operational registers have CSV and Excel downloads. During the walkthrough, check the fields and completeness against the sheets your accounts and operations teams use. There is no automatic sync back into Tally. The public preview does not access your business data.
